Located near the ever-changing tides of the Pacific Ocean, the Hualien Museum of Art draws a powerful parallel between the ocean’s vast energy and the resilient, multifaceted nature of women. This exhibition brings together 13 Taiwanese female artists, showcasing a total of 54 artworks.
The exhibition is organized around three thematic sections: “Ripples,” “Surge,” and “Reflection.” Each theme represents a different state of the sea and water—from the glimmering surface of gentle waves, to the turbulent motion of storms, and finally the return to stillness. Like waves crashing upon diverse rock formations, each artwork radiates its own brilliance, symbolizing the unique and powerful expressions of women through the language of art.
