The media outreach for this event was highly successful. Between September 6 and 9, 2006, a total of 113 international media representatives and professionals visited the Taiwan Pavilion. Among them were 6 from museums or exhibition institutions, 41 international media members, 63 industry professionals, and 3 scholars. In total, 37 domestic and international reports were generated.
The East Asia Forum we organized featured German architectural critic and curator Ulf Meyer, as well as Choi Moon-Gyu, curator of the Korean Pavilion. Their participation drew international attention to the rise of East Asian cities. The forum also helped connect us with the director and curator of Berlin’s influential Aedes Architecture Museum, who visited the Taiwan Pavilion and helped promote Taiwanese architects on the global stage.
