Japanese artist Akinori OISHI utilizes hand-drawn small characters as his creative form, drawing inspiration from everyday life. Proficient in anthropomorphizing objects through his artwork, he imparts a ‘cute’ impression to his pieces. Using simple lines, OISHI outlines richly narrative, smiling expressions that convey a joyful and happy atmosphere.

For this occasion, Akinori OISHI has taken residence in the SanChong Air Force Military Kindred Village No.1 in New Taipei City. While adorning the exterior and interior of Building No. 13 with his artwork, he has also immersed himself in the daily life of the SanChong Air Force Military Kindred Village No.1, infusing those experiences into the characters he designs.
