Rubber Duck

Since the debut of the first giant yellow duck in 2007, artist Florentijn Hofman has taken his iconic work on a global journey, starting from Saint-Nazaire, France. As of January 2014, the Rubber Duck has visited 23 cities across 11 countries and regions.

In 2024, the beloved duck embarks on a new tour, aiming to bring contemporary art into public spaces and foster meaningful dialogue between art and the urban environment. The work continues to spread love and joy, inspiring hearts with a borderless and inclusive spirit, embracing everyone regardless of background, and promoting a positive, open attitude where happiness is shared by all.

 Huizhou

The Rubber Duck lands in Huizhou, situated near the Danshui River, adjacent to the Huiyang Sports Conference & Exhibition Centre. Centered around a large-scale art installation, the event integrates diverse programs such as cultural and sports festivals and a carnival-style food fair. This initiative seeks to promote local arts and culture while providing the public with access to internationally renowned contemporary artworks.
