The MIT—rookies recommendation zone was newly planned in 2008 Art Taipei by the Council for Cultural Affairs, stationed by Yi-Chih Lai, Pei-Ying Huang, Chien-Jen Chiu, Fang-Yi Chu, Pei-Yu Lai, Isa Ho, Jam Wu, and En-Tzu Chang these eight emerging artists recommended through the submission protocol. Every artist owned their independent exhibition space that allowed enough exhibit space and relative media promotion, hoping to build collaborations between local and abroad galleries, art managers, and local young artists, and create a bridge between artists and the art market that elevates the visibility of Taiwanese young artists in the global art world.
