A New Era in Military Education — Tradition and Innovation

In response to rapid advancements in science and technology and the evolving landscape of strategic thinking, this project seeks to find a balance between tradition and innovation. The aim is to align with the educational values of philosophy, science, and military studies, while also cultivating aesthetic appreciation for a new era of learning.

Accordingly, the public art installation is designed to incorporate a diverse range of materials and approaches, combining traditional and innovative elements. Outstanding works from both domestic and international artists were selected to create a stimulating and enjoyable academic environment.

Focusing on the daily life of students and faculty at the National Defense University, participants express themselves through short stories, poetry, calligraphy, and other artistic forms, fostering cultural and artistic engagement within the academic community.

Studio Visits
During the production period, collaborations with the university’s art departments allow students to visit artists’ studios, gaining first-hand experience of the creative process.
