Taoyuan International Illustration Exhibition presents with “listening to the heart” as topic in three exhibiting spaces—follow the storyteller to Taoyuan’s secret place and route, follow the examiner to record daily life and discover, and to follow the adventurer to bravely explore fantasy dreamland. Through the meticulous observance of daily life, illustrators document life and transform inner emotions to illustrations, and also guide visitors to examine a different daily routine and imagination. A creation station is planned in the exhibition space for the public to create their own stories. This exhibition invites 60 illustrators to exemplify as either storyteller, examiner, or adventurer in order to demonstrate Taoyuan’s local humanistic charm, share scenery of daily life, and meander through the inner fantasy world. Through the vibrant and distinct illustrations, the public is leaded to travel within the stories of the illustrated works.
