The 2024 Taiwan Ceramics Biennale marks the 10th edition of the event and is held as a competition year, drawing a record-breaking number of submissions in its history. A total of 1,216 entries were received from 66 countries, highlighting the biennale’s growing global impact.
The competition was juried by a distinguished panel of seven internationally renowned experts in the field of ceramic art. Through a rigorous two-stage selection process, 20 award-winning works were selected, including 1 Grand Prize, 1 Gold Prize, 1 Silver Prize, 1 Bronze Prize, 9 Honorable Mentions, and 7 Jury’s Special Recommendations. An additional 54 entries were selected as finalists for exhibition.
This year’s biennale continues to position Taiwan as a key hub in the international ceramics community, offering a platform that celebrates innovation, craftsmanship, and cross-cultural dialogue through clay.
