• 2024 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival – Kaohsiung Wonderland

We sincerely thank the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts for inviting artist Akinori Oishi to present his work Let’s Smile Together in the “Healing Forest” section of the 2024 Kaohsiung Lantern Festival – Kaohsiung Wonderland. Everyone is welcome to step into the forest and find healing through art!

In recent years, Akinori Oishi has created a significant body of work during his artistic residencies in Taiwan, leaving a lasting impression across the island.

In addition to his current projects at the SanChong Air Force Military Kindred Village No.1 in New Taipei City and the Kaohsiung Lantern Festival, he has also been invited to participate in the upcoming 2024 Art Maker Festival in Yilan. Through his signature minimal lines and expressive, story-filled smiles, Oishi continues to bring joy, love, and positive energy to people in Taiwan.
